Kristal Kissel - Owner /Director & Instructor
Kristal was born and raised in Louisville, KY. She is the owner of Dance Fusion, has 35+ years of dancing experience and over 30 years of teaching experience. Kristal's knowledge for dance is outstanding. She is an inspiration to all. Her background begins at the age of two where she took studio lessons from Dale Meyer School of Dance for over twelve years. During her youth, she attended dance conventions such as Danny Hoctor Dance Caravan, ASC, NDA, UDA, & USA Theater. She was a member of JCTMS Dance Team, duPont Manual H.S. Dance Team, and attended The Youth Performing Art School where she majored in dance. Kristal was awarded many regional & national awards. Most importantly was the ALL AMERICAN award for her showstopping performance in High School National Competition. Kristal was apart of the University of Louisville Ladybirds and was a member of the University Athletic Advisory Club. Kristal has choreographed and taught several award winning Middle Schools and High Schools in Louisville and surrounding cities.
Her choreography has been showcased at the Barnstable Brown Derby Gala, the Junior Miss Kentucky Pageant, throughout High School & College Performances / Competitions, Kentucky State Fair, and the University of Louisville halftime shows. Her greatest love is dance. She loves to teach children of all ages the love for dance. In the last 20 years, Kristal's dancers have been honored with many regional and national awards. Most recent, 4x National Champions in groups, and awarded the Premier Cup for the highest scoring routine at the 2023 Nexstar Talent Dance Nationals. Many of her dancers can be seen at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, Derby Dinner Playhouse, Youth Performing Arts School, duPont Manual Dance Team, Louisville Male Dance Team, Mercy Academy Dance Team, University of Louisville Ladybirds, Bellarmine University Dance Team, Stephen Foster Story Theatre and other local theatrical venues. You may have seen Kristal at the local Dance Team middle & high school competitions because she was head coach for JCTMS for the past eight years. Kristal believes DANCE is a fun & an emotional experience that should be taught with love and passion!! We love Ms. Kristal & her creative mind! Go Dance Fusion!
MS. Paige - Instructor
Paige was raised in Louisville, KY. She has been dancing for 16 years. She has been trained in many styles. Her background includes being on the competition team at Dance Fusion, a member on St.Bernard's dance team, and a member of the Nationally ranked Mercy Academy Dance Team. Which also includes performing at the halftime shows for the University of Louisville Basketball Team and many local high school sports teams. Many memories
performing at Mercy Academy Dance Camps, in drama productions at school, and regional & national competitions in solo, duet and groups. Paige has also attended the Danny Hoctor Dance Convention, NDA, UDA and KAR conventions. Through her many years of dancing she has received many awards from the competitions and conventions she participated in such as Top Starz, All American, and Sportsmanship Awards. As an instructor, Paige has received multiple choreography awards. Dance Fusion is lucky to have Paige working with our dancers. Paige is a great example of passion, hard work & love for the art of dance. Congrats to Ms. Paige for her most recent 2x National Championship win with her Dance Fusion Junior Large Group!
MS. Hannah - Instructor
Hannah was raised in Louisville, KY by her two loving parents. She began her dance journey at the age of 2. She was enrolled into competitive classes by age 5 and trained competitively until adulthood. Hannah started instructing classes by the age of 16 but that didn't stop her from competing in groups and solo routines herself. She won multiple awards at regional and national competitions. She also was awarded dance grants, invitations to dance intensives and dance camps across the USA. Hannah performed and practiced with her local studio and she was a member of the Noe Middle School Dance Team and Atherton High School Dance Team. She was elected captain for two years on her High School Team.
Hannah was named All- American for three consecutive years for her performances at NDA while in High School. She went onto the University of Louisville and was a member of the Ladybirds. She was apart of the National Champion Team and could be seen on the SO Sharp television show. Her favorite style of dance is Jazz. Hannah has great technique and challenges her dancers when it comes to Jazz dance. She bring lot of personality to Dance Fusion. Congrats to Ms. Hannah on her most recent 2x National Championship win with her Dance Fusion Teen Small Group Competition Team!
