Dress Code - All dancers will need to wear leotard & tights to dance class. Dance shorts and capri pant are allowed to be worn along with the leotard & tights. Hair must be pulled out of the face, no jewelry is to be worn and all proper dance shoes need to be worn. Dancers who practice hip hop dance can wear t-shirt & shorts, tank top, capri pants & jazz pants to class. Boys dress code - jogging pants, jazz pants, or shorts, t-shirt or tank top. Wearing proper dance shoes is a required.
Tuition Payments are due the first day of each month. We will accept check ,cash, credit or debit cards. A late fee of will be added to your account if the payment isn't received by the first day of each month. Returned checks will be charged a $25.00 banking fee. Remember that the monthly payment is the same whether there are 2,3,4, or 5 lessons in the month. A discount of 10% will be deducted from your monthly installment if you pay the full amount for the year (Fall Session ONLY)
Attendance is crucial in learning, and we do not offer makeup classes for any classes missed, due to the availability of studio space. If you must miss class for any reason, it is your responsibility to call our office at 491-2780 and inform the office staff or leave a message on the voice mail message. Please do this prior to the scheduled class time so we can inform the instructor of your absence.
Being late to class is sometimes hard to avoid, however, if you are 10 mintues late to class, the instructor may ask you to observe rather then take class. Missing the beginnig exercises may run you the risk of injury from not warming up properly. Its up to each instructor to make that decision. Call the office at 491-2780 prior to class time to inform us of your late arrival.
Dance Fusion follows the Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) decision for cancelling school and classes. If JCPS cancels school then Dance Fusion classes are cancelled as well. We will send out text messages to all parents notifying them of the cancelled classes. If JCPS lets school out early due to bad weather, then Dance Fusion will be closed. If you are unsure if we are closed, call the office at 491-2780 for a voice mail message or e-mail Ms. Kristal at [email protected].com.
The Dance Fusion office is for staff only. No parents or dancers are allowed in the office without the permission of a Dance Fusion staff member. Please keep the lobby, lounge area, hallway, and restroom clean. It is your responsibility to clean up after yourself and throw trash away. The studio has three dance rooms. Stage 1 has portable barres, color tiles for our young dancers, mirrors, and viewing windows for the parents. Stage 2 has portable barres, marley floors, mirrors, and viewing windows for the parents. Stage 3 has marley floors & mats for the acro classes. No chewing gum, food, or drink is allowed in the dance rooms. The only exception is that dancers may bring a water bottle to class. All dance bags or school bags, jackets and coats need to be placed in the cubby area. No bags are allowed into the dance room.
Dance Classes begin the Tuesday after Labor Day and end the last week of May. Listed below are several important dates that you may want to mark on your calendar. Any other special class notice will be posted on the information board in the lobby.
